Let´s Fly 3D Fabric es un manifiesto visual, una pieza textil inédita producida íntegramente en impresión 3D y cuyo diseño parte de un data art desarrollado a partir del procesamiento de datos aportados por el equipo de Deep Learning de LLYC.
18,4 millones de mensajes extraídos de la conversación social de un año en los 12 países donde opera LLYC, fueron procesados y analizados con inteligencia artificial dando lugar a una representación visual única, donde aparecen territorios polarizados y saturados, pero también otros inexplorados o menos transitados.
Nuestro desafío fue transformar esos datos en color, hilos, trama y urdimbre, dando lugar a una pieza plástica cuya belleza expresiva invita a múltiples interpretaciones y capas semánticas.
Este manifiesto visual que desarrollamos junto con LLYC, encapsula los valores de posicionamiento en un momento de transformación de la compañía. Donde su búsqueda se expande en identificar y aprovechar los territorios menos transitados, generando así oportunidades de conexión e impacto para sus clientes.
Pero sobretodo, es una provocación para buscar donde nadie busca y ser audaces, una invitación a recorrer caminos menos transitados, y para trabajar, por qué no, desde lo contraintuitivo.
Sensibilidad y data, creatividad y tecnología, craft e innovación son los ingredientes clave con los que conceptualizamos la idea del proyecto y su desarrollo.
Para el diseño del textil buscamos minimalismo y elegancia, enfocándonos en la simplicidad de líneas y colores para una pieza atemporal que transmitiera sofisticación y sencillez. Hacer una pieza de 120x120 cm con 5 colores diferentes, implicó un trabajo meticuloso de planificación técnica debido a que requiere una cuidadosa calibración de las máquinas de impresión para asegurar la fidelidad del diseño.
La investigación en materiales y tecnologías de impresión 3D se convierte en un elemento clave para superar estos desafíos y garantizar la coherencia y calidad en cada detalle de la pieza textil. Este enfoque técnico, combinado con la estética minimalista que buscábamos, nos permitió llevar la creatividad a nuevos niveles y explorar posibilidades únicas en el diseño textil.
Para el video quisimos llevar la estética minimalista a su máxima expresión, donde la narrativa estuviera centrada en la capacidad expresiva del textil 3D. Una coreografía inesperada de suaves y hipnóticos movimientos para resaltar la fluidez y versatilidad del textil 3D, creando así una experiencia visual envolvente.
La iluminación sutil y la elección de planos cinematográficos contribuyeron a realzar la belleza de la tela, permitiendo que el espectador/a se sumerja en una sinfonía de formas y texturas. En este proyecto, la estética minimalista se convierte en una ventana a la elegancia y expresión artística, donde cada fotograma es una obra de arte efímera que invita a la contemplación.

"Let's Fly 3D Fabric" is a visual manifesto, a unique textile piece entirely produced through 3D printing. Its design originates from a data art project developed using data provided by LLYC's Deep Learning team.
A total of 18.4 million messages extracted from one year of social conversation in the 12 countries where LLYC operates were processed and analyzed using artificial intelligence. This process resulted in a unique visual representation, depicting polarized and saturated territories, as well as unexplored or less-traveled areas.
Our challenge was to transform this data into color, threads, weave, and warp, creating an artistic piece with expressive beauty that invites multiple interpretations and semantic layers.
This visual manifesto, created in collaboration with LLYC, encapsulates the company's positioning values during a transformative moment. It expands its search to identify and leverage less-traveled territories, thereby generating opportunities for connection and impact for its clients.
Above all, it is a provocation to seek where no one else is looking, to be bold, an invitation to explore less-traveled paths, and to work, perhaps, from the counterintuitive.

For the textile design, we aimed for minimalism and elegance, focusing on the simplicity of lines and colors for a timeless piece that conveys sophistication and simplicity. Creating a piece of 120x120 cm with 5 different colors involved meticulous technical planning due to the need for careful calibration of the printing machines to ensure design fidelity.
Research in materials and 3D printing technologies becomes a crucial element to overcome these challenges and guarantee coherence and quality in every detail of the textile piece. This technical approach, combined with the minimalist aesthetic we sought, allowed us to take creativity to new levels and explore unique possibilities in textile design.
For the video, we aimed to push the minimalist aesthetic to its maximum expression, with the narrative centered around the expressive capacity of 3D textile. An unexpected choreography of gentle and hypnotic movements was designed to highlight the fluidity and versatility of the 3D textile, creating an immersive visual experience.
Subtle lighting and the choice of cinematic angles contributed to enhancing the beauty of the fabric, allowing the viewer to immerse themselves in a symphony of shapes and textures. In this project, the minimalist aesthetic becomes a window to elegance and artistic expression, where each frame is a fleeting work of art that invites contemplation.
